Afternoon tea with "the girls" was such a delight - especially after a long week of single parenting, it was a much needed treat. You are served a variety of teas/hot chocolates, finger sandwiches (bay shrimp, watercress, ahi tuna, etc...), scones with clotted cream and lemon curd (Kalli's absolute favorite), and then an amazing selection of desserts. It is in a very traditional setting with live harp or piano music, a roaring fire, wing back Victorian chairs...am I painting a delicate enough picture? Needless to say, I highly recommend this if you are ever in downtown Salt Lake. Let us know if you plan on going and we'll come along!

Sounds like a fun time! I'd suggest it when we're in town this summer but am afraid my girls would ask where the chicken nuggets were and would ruin the whole atmosphere!!! We will definitely be doing TT though, right?
Chris - Afternoon tea is at the Grand America Hotel downtown. We went for Activity Days - you and Andi should absolutely go. Maybe even your young women? Our ward paid for half.
This sounds like (kinda) the tea place in Cody. I would love to go here to this one some time. How fun. oxoxo mom
