Of course we had to add some beach time to the California trip. The kids and I spent a day in Santa Cruz (6/11-6/12) while Bryce took some meetings. They were in absolute heaven - talk about a cheap date! Sand, kelp, and salty water was all it took for these great big smiles.

BEAUTIFUL pictures. What I would give to be on that beach with my boys right now. We have to settle for the Casper Country Club pool.
My kiddos have still never been to the beach ... we are the worst parents on the face of the planet!! Then again, I hadn't been to a beach in YEARS before I went to Florida in May (which is what made me feel a HUGE urge to get my kids to the beach)!! Hopefully in October ....
